We offer two operating theatres and specialise in Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, General, Dental, Gynaecology and Urology procedures.In this role, your primary responsibility will be the cleaning, high level disinfection and sterilisation of all the Endoscopy equipment, in conjunction with other team members. Additionally, assist with cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for our Clinical department and external customers. This will include working in conjunction with the Endoscopy and Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.Skills and ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in Clinical Sterilisation services or be willing to learn, ideally within a hospital setting. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with an understanding of the Australian Sterilisation Standards.You will also bring:2-3 Years experience in cleaning flexible Endoscopes or willingness to be trained there-in.Certificate III in Sterilisation will be highly regarded however experienced applicants without qualifications are still encouraged to apply.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.Customer service orientation in both internal and external settings.Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.Exceptional organisational skills.RemunerationOn offer is hourly salary ranging from $29.36 - $38.30 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (Sterilisation Technician Level 1 - 4).Whats in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
