Permanent part-time may be offered to a suitable applicant.This role requires energetic individuals who seek to make a difference in residents'' daily living. Join our dynamic team that is influencing change in quality of aged care, fostering a positive culture and team approach to service delivery and contribution to the well-being of all residents whilst ensuring that all residents experience the Princes Court resident-centred care approach that promotes living life to the end.In this role, you will be working as part of the hospitality services team in our aged care facility providing services connected with the provision of meals. You will be required to assist residents in our dining room whilst providing them with the quality dining experience that meets their expectations.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet residents and assist them to their table when required.Provide hospitality and meal service to residents.Undertake duties associated with the operation of the kitchen and dining room.Maintain kitchen hygiene and all food safety practices.Assist with meal preparation.Clean and maintain equipment used in the performance of tasks.Key Selection CriteriaCurrent Food Handlers Certificate.Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.Knowledge of the Commonwealths Aged Care Industry Aged Care Quality Standards.Understanding of the importance of quality customer service.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy dining room setting.Knowledge of cleaning products, their application, and use of cleaning equipment.Ability to work without direct supervision and to organise work routines efficiently.What Princes Court offers youYou will enjoy an attractive salary (commensurate with experience) and great benefits.More importantly, you will be part of a team that feels like family.
