Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create AlertEmployment type: Ongoing, Full TimeSalary: $101,981 pa + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + SuperannuationYour role:We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Senior Trade Overseer to work within our Food Services Sandwich Unit at the Kempsey Correctional Centre.What youll do:Join an organisation with a rich history where your trade experience is valued. Senior Trade Overseers are trade qualified Correctional Officers with the essential role of using your trade skills to work with and supervise inmates and other staff to undertake programmed and reactive maintenance tasks essential to keep the correctional centre operational.Provide leadership and mentoring to Overseers, and supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them, as members of a team, in order that they may improve their work skills, enhance their post-release employment prospects, and contribute productively to Business Unit objectives.Qualifications Required:Current Certificate III in Correctional.Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.Relevant trade qualifications: Commercial Cookery or similar food related trade qualification.Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description.Ability and willingness to work across trades as required.We focus on hiring people who share our commitment and goals of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage and integrity.
