Schools Engagement and Recruitment AssistantJoin our Schools Engagement and Recruitment team at SwinburneFull-time, ongoing position at our Hawthorn campusHEW Level 4 salary + 17% super and staff benefitsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Schools Engagement and Recruitment Assistant to join our Future Students team at Swinburne to support the broader schools outreach team to achieve domestic student enrolment targets for Swinburnes programs in Australia, as well as provide support for school engagement activities.In this role, you will assist the team to follow up enquiries from schools, and provide administrative support to help deliver on an annual calendar of recruitment activities. You may represent the University at recruitment activities and events under supervision, while also providing advice to prospective students and their influencers about course and pathway options available at Swinburne.This position will support across a key function of the Future Students (Schools Engagement and Recruitment) team and will assist the Recruitment team to achieve maximum possible enrolment conversion from enquiries and applications, as well as providing administrative support of casual team members and logistical support at on-campus events.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Demonstrated experience in a sales support role in a services industry.Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.Superior time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Understanding of Australian educational systems and frameworks, and of relevant government policies.Knowledge of secondary and tertiary education sectors including VTAC application and selection processes and higher education reforms is desirable.Experience using customer relationship management systems (i.e. Customer One, Salesforce) is preferred.QualificationsCompletion of an associate diploma level qualification in marketing / communications or equivalent with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.About Swinburne University of TechnologySwinburnes strategy draws upon our understanding of future challenges.
