Build a strong foundation for your pharmacy career and open doors to exciting possibilities in clinical and hospital pharmacy.About The RoleThis is a casual position, ideal for a Pharmacy Student looking to apply knowledge gained in lectures into real-world scenarios in hospital pharmacy. The casual employment arrangement allows you the flexibility to work afternoons/evenings whilst juggling your studies.As a Hospital Student Pharmacist, Your Duties Will IncludeDispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.Delivery of medications to hospital wards.Inventory control and management.Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.Hours include a regular weekend shift, and potential for weekday shifts if the need arises.Slade Pharmacy Pimlico Opening hours are 9am -5pm Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm on Saturday and 9am 12pm on Sunday.About YouEssential RequirementsCurrent 1st 3rd year Pharmacy Student, enrolled at a recognised Australian University.Be able to address client needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism.The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Preferred RequirementsDispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy.About UsIcon Group provides a complete suite of services to support the operation of more than 75 pharmacies across Australia.
