With multidisciplinary capabilities in design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance, RSGx provides services to a wide range of clients both nationally and internationally.The opportunityWe are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler, P6 expert to join our team for a power station shutdown, cooling tower refurbishment project near Lithgow.The working hours are 11 hours per day, 6 days per week, for approximately 3 months. Accommodation can be provided if you do not live within the region. Travel costs will be discussed with the preferred candidate.As the P6 Scheduler, youll be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project planning, progress tracking, and reporting, and adjusting forecasts as needed. The P6 Scheduler plays a key role in optimising project timelines, identifying potential delays, risks, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track while keeping management informed.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, and define project scope, work breakdown structure (WBS), and sequencing of tasks.Establish activity durations, dependencies, and resource allocations.Integrate cost and schedule data for effective project tracking. Generate reports, dashboards, and schedule analysis for stakeholders.Identify schedule risks and provide mitigation strategies.Conduct earned value management (EVM) and critical path analysis (CPA).Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide scheduling expertise, and ensure schedules comply with contractual requirements and industry best practices.Maintain scheduling documentation and historical data for future reference.Stay up to date with Primavera P6 updates and scheduling methodologies.About youYou bring excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You have great attention to detail and can work under tight deadlines, multitasking and managing multiple project schedules simultaneously.A bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.A minimum of 3+ years experience as a P6 Scheduler or in project scheduling.Experience in construction, oil & gas, engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects is a plus.Knowledge of project scheduling methodologies (CPM, EVM, resource leveling).Certifications in Primavera P6, PMP - PMI, and PMI-SP are desirable.Join our teamWe are proud to be recognised as the 49th fastest-growing company in Australia.
