BenefitsGreat organisational culture and supportive team environmentComlink Australia recognises, values and invests in youWork flexibly (we do our best to accommodate your individual needs)Salary packaging opportunities and attractive hourly ratePaid Parental Leave (for eligible employees)Paid Birthday Leave - enjoy a paid day off on your birthdayDiscounted gym membershipEmployee Assistance Program to help support you through lifes challengesPaid training and continuous learning and development opportunitiesWe have created a culture of collaboration, where our table is roundAbout the RoleThe role of the Team Leader is to provide exceptional support to local team members and their engagement with the organisation, through imparting knowledge and assisting with onboarding, coaching and mentorship, while enhancing the quality-of-service delivery and providing practical support to the Team Manager.What Will This Look Like on a Day-to-Day Basis?You will be:Providing quality, direct personal care services to clients including personal care, general housekeeping assistance (cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting), social support, and transport as prescribed in the client''s care planProviding leadership support to new and existing team members by following a structured onboarding process and buddy program, mentoring, coaching, and providing technical supportRecording and maintaining team members compliance records, feedback, and incident reports and scheduling trainingProviding other administrative support to the Team Manager, e.g., preparation of meetings or pay runsPromoting a high performing culture with the commitment to quality and service excellencePerforming accurate and efficient data entry and updating and maintaining internal knowledge-based filesEnsuring data integrity and confidentialityOther Things You Might Like to KnowYou may be required to use your private vehicle for work purposes, with kilometre reimbursement offeredPaid compliance checks including NDIS Worker ScreeningYou will be required to provide a current Traffic History reportWhat Skills and Experience Do You Need to Be a Team Leader?This position is best suited to someone who has:Certificate III qualification i.e. Individual Support, Aged Care, Community ServicesExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team membersHighly proficient in using technology, including software applications, data management systems, and digital tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platformsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesGenuine empathy with elderly clients and a passion to work within the community service industryA sound understanding and commitment to working within professional boundaries and the Aged Care Quality StandardsUnderstanding of, and willingness to develop an appreciation of, specialised service delivery within diverse groups, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+, and HomelessnessHow to ApplyBe creative!
