As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.In this key role, you will utilise your comprehensive mechanical knowledge to coordinate maintenance activities and improvement initiatives for our Plate Rolling section, as well as leading a small team of tradespeople.What Will You Do?As a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will:Supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance.Coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section.Coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions.Participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects.Respond to the day-to-day Mechanical availability and reliability issues.More About YouAs an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will bring your experience and demonstrate a willingness to develop your skills.
