LGBTI Seniors Community Visiting Service Project Officer$40.45 $43.37 per hour + super + salary sacrificeThe Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) and 2Spirits are united in a statewide mission to enhance the health and wellbeing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Sistergirl, and Brotherboy people and communities across Queensland.This position is an integral member of the QC staff team responsible for delivering the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) program that contributes to better outcomes for senior Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Sistergirl, and Brotherboy communities in Queensland. This position works across the organisation and within our Ageing Team to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to undertake visits to older people living in aged care facilities and in their own homes who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and companionship.
