The nature of the fast-paced hire industry requires flexible individuals who can adapt quickly, are strong communicators, and have the ability to think on their feet.Key Responsibilities:Dispatching of hire equipmentConducting quality checksCarrying out minor repairs to VMS boards (e.g., cleaning solar panels, replacing globes in taillights, checking water levels in batteries, repairing trailer plugs)Carrying out cleaning and repairs to plastic water-filled barriers and associated barriersSkills / Experience / Qualifications:Reliable transport is essentialManual Drivers LicenceExperience in a freight/delivery environment (including loading & unloading, multi-drop deliveries, and customer service) is preferred but not essentialWelding and/or Poly Welding experience will be highly regardedAuto electrical and/or mechanical experience will be highly regardedForklift Licence (current)Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectivelyWillingness to work overtime and assist in night shift rostering for new project installations as requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive pay with overtime opportunities based on workloadFull-time, permanent role with stability and career growthA supportive team environment where your hard work and dedication are valuedPlease Note:This is a hands-on role with a realistic salary structure.
