Dive into a role where innovation, collaboration, and empowerment of students are key, enabling them to make a significant impact in their studies.If youre experienced in the delivery of LLND skills in a training environment and have a desire to help our students succeed - were looking for you!On any given day, your duties will include:Deliver foundation skills training to individuals or class groups, both on-campus and onlineAssessing student skills and developing targeted learning plansWorking closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to advance a students learning journeyDevelop and oversee teaching materials and resources.Provide comprehensive communication with students and manage administrative tasks seamlessly.Participate in and deliver professional development related to foundation skills.What will you bringTAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentDesirable qualifications include:Higher-level qualification in adult literacy and numeracyBachelors degree in teaching or educationExperience teaching foundation skills in an adult vocational learning environmentOutstanding communication skills, cultivating strong relationships with students and peersExpertise in teaching and assessment methodologies, skilled at developing strategies for effective learning outcomes.A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceAt TasTAFE, we encourage applications from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, people living with a disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and members of the LGBTIQ+ community.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace and understand the importance of flexibility.
