Our client, Multifert, is seeking a Truck Driver to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. Located in Hanwood, New South Wales, they operate across various industries, offering specialised services and products such as transport, engineering, trailers, commercial hatcheries, incubators and poultry equipment, and securement parking barriers.The RoleThe Truck Driver will be responsible for providing essential transport services within the transport division, ensuring transport of bird feed as per client and company procedures.The annual salary is $85,462 plus superannuation.Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-start inspection of truck and trailer.Report any vehicle faults or issues.Operate the truck and trailer following company procedures and HVNL requirements.Transport bird feed while adhering to company and client procedures.Follow all safety procedures and protocols.Maintain clear communication with Multiquip staff, feed mill personnel, farmers, and other relevant site personnel.Compliance with farm biosecurity measures.Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.Operate feed tankers and hoses efficiently.Ensure that the truck is within legal weight limits after loading.Pump out of feed into the current silo on the farm, using correct Manual Handling techniques.Keep the company truck clean and well-maintained.Follow all company policies and procedures, including WHS, HR, and compliance standards.Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility legislation.Complete all mandatory training via the Online Learning Management System (Multilearn).Promptly report hazards, near misses, or incidents and maintain required records such as work diaries and timesheets.Other duties as required.Qualifications And RequirementsHeavy vehicle license (Heavy Combination or Multi Combination).Knowledge Skills, Abilities Or ExperienceDemonstrated at least 2 years of experience within a similar capacity and role.Must be physically fit.Knowledge of the poultry industry is an advantage.Strong communication skills.Ability to work efficiently.Preferred Qualification And EducationBasic Fatigue Management (BFM Accreditation).Load Restraint Certification.Reporting LineThis position reports to the Site Allocator/Manager.Working Conditions And Physical DemandsWork outdoors on farms and at the feed mill.Drive heavy vehicles.Seated for extended periods of time.Access and egress to vehicles multiple times a day.Hitch and unhitch trailers.Climb the ladder to check the feed level in silos and load feed into the tanker.Manual Handling of hose.Internal RequirementsSetup of Kronos app on mobile phone.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) / Hi-Vis Uniform Supplied.Driver Folder Issued.Fuel Key Setup.EWD (Hub Fleet).Truck Tablet.Limits Of AuthorityTo stop work if personal or co-worker safety is at risk.To stop work and report to the Manager if there is a breach of environmental regulations or if pollution is threatened.While At Work, MustTake reasonable care for their own health and safety.Take reasonable care of the health and safety of others.Comply with all reasonable instructions, policies and procedures given by their employer, business or workplace controller.Participate In Training Where/when RequiredCompany Policies and Procedures.Task instructions.Manual Handling Training.Environmental Training.Emergency Response Training.Other training as required by the role.Key Performance Task/ Area Of AccountabilityWork within Multiquip, Baiada, Cordina, and Game Farm guidelines as applicable depending on the location.Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.Maintain a close working relationship with co-workers.Maintain all qualifications needed for this role.Staying up to date with all heavy vehicle regulations.Complete work diary (where required) and time sheets correctly and supply to administration staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
