Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe HMC Group has extensive aviation, tourism and accommodation operations in some of the most iconic regions of Australia and is seeking to appoint a Group Quality Auditor/QMS Specialist.The HMC Group is a collection of quality businesses under common ownership and has expanded rapidly in both geographic location and size of operations over the past 8 years.The HMC Group currently has offices in Perth, Kununurra, Broome, Karratha, Geraldton and Adelaide, and has an expanding team approaching 400 employees, with further and substantial business growth forecast over the next five years.Enterprises within the Group include:Nexus Airlines Western Australias newest regional airline, servicing Western Australia and beyond.Aviair - One of Australias largest and leading fixed wing general aviation operators with charter, scheduled services and scenic flights operating throughout the Kimberley and Pilbara regions for corporate, mining, government and tourism clients.HeliSpirit HeliSpirit offers tourism helicopter services from eleven spectacular locations in the Kimberley, Pilbara, and Goldfields regions, as well as a range of corporate and charter helicopter services in the north west of WA.Australian Helicopter Academy - Providing commercial helicopter pilot training.About the roleReporting to the Group Quality Assurance Manager the Group Quality Auditor/QMS Specialist will be responsible for:Ensuring the relevant stakeholders are informed on quality matters through feedback, reporting and highlighting any issues not being addressed appropriately.Assisting with the continued establishment and management of the Group Quality Management System.Assisting with technical authoring of procedure manuals.Working with the Group Quality Assurance Manager on the preparation and implementation of the quality audit program.Preparing post-audit reports, including raising findings and observations and assisting responsible persons to ensure they are addressed within the agreed timeframe.Monitoring closure findings raised and escalating them if not closed out in accordance with agreed timeframes.Conducting external audits and assisting with coordination and participation in third-party audits.Responsible for the update and maintenance of manual and electronic audit records.To be successful in this rolePrevious experience in a similar role.Previous aviation industry experience is essential.Knowledge and understanding of the regulations and standards applicable to the aviation industry.Analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).Understanding of risk management principles and techniques to support the QMS.Ability to obtain an ASIC.Experience with Air Maestro is desirable.What We Offer YouAn attractive salary / salary packaging benefits.A great team environment in a modern Rivervale office.Free onsite parking.Opportunities to travel with work and explore the Kimberley, as the role will require some travel to Group office locations.To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume outlining your relevant qualifications and experience.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
