About The RoleSt John Ambulance Victoria is seeking Community Education Officers to provide the First Aid in Schools Program in a range of locations throughout Victoria.The Community Education Officers deliver engaging and age-appropriate first aid information to children, youth, and adults in schools and community settings. You will facilitate first aid demonstrations in community settings for teens and adults while actively contributing to community programs including CPR Lab, Defib in Your Street, and Party Ready.This role will require travel to Melbourne metro and regional areas, and applications are welcome from candidates in Greater Melbourne or regional Victoria.As Our Ideal Candidate, You Will Possess:A positive & engaging communication styleThe ability to engage with children, youth, and adultsPrevious experience working with children in an education, support, or community programA willingness to learn First AidBasic IT skills and the ability and willingness to learn new technologyA current drivers license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.Don''t meet every requirement?
