Casual Administration Assistant (Medico Legal)mlcoa Darwin City, Northern Territory, AustraliaWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant with a high level of attention to detail to join our team on a casual basis. Hours and days may vary and increase, however all working hours are within normal business hours.Reporting to the Operations Manager, you would coordinate and deliver, as a member of a client services team, a range of high quality, client focused support tasks for the provision of independent medical services.We are a small office and team, located in Darwin city and we are looking for a bright, empathetic person to assist with our day to day office procedures and assist our medical consultants and staff, clients and examinees.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Administration support including archiving, scanning and filing; facilitating appointments for imaging, set up of consulting rooms and end of day office / consulting room activities.Scheduling and managing appointments to meet customer needs and to maximise the booking rate of available medical consultants.Assist customers by providing informed advice on the most suitable service, and appropriate consultant specialty (and consultant).Undertaking accurate preparation, maintenance, filing and scanning of examinee files and records.Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including mlcoa medical consultants and staff, clients and examinees.Effective management of the bookings calendar to support mlcoa Darwin and the broader business achieve business imperatives.Supporting the day-to-day operation and professional appearance of the office.Willing and able to function autonomously.QualificationsTo be successful for this role you will have:Excellent Administration skills.Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service is desirable.Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and associated skills in influencing and negotiation.Strong attention to detail and follow through.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.High regard for confidentiality.Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.This is a great opportunity for a candidate seeking an active and rewarding career within a progressive organisation. mlcoa offers a supportive, challenging and fun work environment where client focus, team spirit and respect are key features.Additional InformationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, proudly welcoming people with disability including mental health conditions, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people from the LGBTQI community, veterans, carers and Indigenous Australians to our team.
