It''s a part of our DNA and what drives us.We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Banquet Supervisor to join us part time at Darwin Convention Centre!The purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate banquet events through effective planning, teamwork, and execution to deliver exceptional quality and guest satisfaction at Darwin Convention Centre.This will include tasks such as:Coordination and supervision of banquet staff to ensure the timely set-up, service and breakdown of events to the Centres standards and according to work orders and specifications provided.Coordinate with the Event Organiser regarding any changes to Food and Beverage services and communicate these updates with the in-house event coordinator.Monitor service during events to ensure that food and beverage standards are met and guests needs are addressed promptly.Address any issues or complaints from guests in a professional and timely manner.Be able to form strong relationships with all Stakeholders both internal and external.Assist with the control of casual wage costs through efficient and productive utilisation of rostered staff, providing rostering assistance if required.Assist with meeting the training and development requirements of staff.Assist with the management of beverage inventory control, ensuring proper storage, handling and equipment.Assist with Food and Beverage administrative duties as required.Comply with internal compliance, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.Maintain cleanliness of all food and beverage areas.Any other duties and tasks as required or directed.ABOUT YOUEvery day our people are responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.You will have a shared values and people-centric mind set and genuinely want to make a difference.
