We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure seamless logistics, inventory management, and attention to detail.Job Summary:The Warehouse Operations Manager is in a hands-on role, responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of service. This role requires a systems-driven individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The role includes lifting, packing, moving stock, managing and handling fragile, and valuable items daily, requiring utmost care, precision, and attention to detail to maintain their integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is solution-oriented, and works collaboratively with the operations team and sales/product staff.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching high-end furniture.Implement and maintain efficient warehouse systems and processes to optimize workflow and inventory accuracy, peak efficiency and customer satisfaction.Ensure all products are handled with care and meet quality standards before dispatch.Be prepared to work within a culture of accountability, efficiency, and teamwork.Monitor and manage stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits and ensuring accurate records.Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and damage-free deliveries.Develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations.Proactively identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.Generate and analyse reports related to inventory, productivity, and operational performance.Assist in physical labour as required, including loading/unloading shipments, packing, moving stock between showroom and warehouse and client deliveries.Operational Efficiency & LeadershipOversee the warehouse to ensure peak efficiency and customer satisfaction by establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.Schedule and oversee fulfillment processes to meet demand, maximizing flow and work quality.Manage the organization and security of the warehouse stock system.Identify and implement improvements to streamline packing and fulfillment operations.Day-to-Day LogisticsCoordinate inbound and outbound orders: receiving, packing, and dispatching in line with safety and branding standards.Perform quality control checks (QC) on stock and reconcile purchase orders (POs) daily.Manage back-end order administration, including unfulfilled orders and store pick-ups.Oversee stock takes across all locations, including raw materials, in collaboration with the Operations Manager.Customer ServiceAct as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries or issues related to order fulfillment, delivery delays, or errors.Investigate and resolve any order discrepancies, damages, or missing items promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.Collaborate with customer service teams to escalate and address ongoing issues efficiently.Implement measures to minimize errors and enhance order accuracy.Supportive DutiesAssist with heavy lifting tasks related to furniture and rugs, including dispatch, showroom re-merchandising, and photoshoots.Support VIP client services, including deliveries and installations.Maintain overall warehouse tidiness and organizational standards.Key Attributes & Skills:High Attention to Detail: Ensures all orders, stock levels, and warehouse processes are meticulously managed.Systems-Driven: Comfortable working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.Organized & Efficient: Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and maintain order in a dynamic environment.Results & Customer-Driven: Committed to ensuring smooth logistics and superior customer satisfaction.Solution-Based Thinker: Identifies challenges proactively and implements effective solutions.Team Player: Works collaboratively with internal teams and provides strong leadership to warehouse staff.Prepared for Physical Labor: Comfortable with lifting, moving, and assembling furniture as needed.Qualifications & Experience:Previous experience in warehouse management, preferably within the furniture or luxury goods industry.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination.Proficiency in warehouse management software and reporting tools with an understanding of Cin 7 is preferred but not required.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Must have a valid drivers license.Forklift certification (preferred but not required).Bonus Skills: General maintenance and restoration skills are highly regarded.Why Join Us?Be part of a prestigious high-end furniture brand with a commitment to quality and excellence.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.Based in Byron Bay.If you have the skills, experience, and drive to excel in this role, we invite you to apply and become a key part of our team at Tigmi Trading. #J-18808-Ljbffr
