523428Hobart, TAS, 7000Early LearningPermanent Part TimeLead and support our newest OSHC service to our OSHC community.Part-time, working 24 hrs per week, including dedicated non-contact time.Access up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits & increase take-home pay.About the roleAs our Lead Educator, you will lead the operations of the service and help grow its capacity. You will guide and support your OSHC team, which delivers high-quality early childhood education and care to children.You will also be well-supported in your role. You will have access to our dedicated OSHC Director and Educational Leaders, who will help you plan and implement quality play-based educational and leisure programs.About The ProgramOur Before and After School Care services provide learning and leisure activities for local children, taking the pressure off busy families who need additional school-based care, giving children more time with their peers before and after school. We provide experiences that help children connect with the outdoors and nurture an understanding and love for the environment.Whats on offerWe understand the importance of your role and include dedicated non-contact time per week to complete your management tasks.In addition to base salary and superannuation, youll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on rent, mortgage repayments, or living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.About YouYou will have experience shaping high-quality services that deliver learning and leisure experiences for children and promote the well-being and support of children and families who use them.You Will Also HaveA strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, including demonstrating applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices.Comprehensive knowledge of My Time, Our Place that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes.An approved Australian Childrens Education & Care Quality Authority qualification (see list of approved qualifications).Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates or willingness to obtain them.Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check.How to applyClick APPLY to submit your interest, and well be in touch shortly.
