If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.Who you areYou are a motivated, forward-thinking professional with:A degree in library studies or a related field (eligible for Australian Library and Information Association associate membership).Extensive experience in an academic library, coupled with a deep understanding of current and emerging trends in academic services, digital literacy, and scholarly communication.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, deliver impactful training, and foster meaningful relationships across a diverse community.Strong project management and decision-making capabilities, with a knack for balancing multiple priorities to achieve outstanding results.What you''ll doAs a Campus Liaison Librarian, you will:Lead the campus Library Experience team to ensure seamless, high-quality client support services both online and on-campus.Supervise and mentor Library Advisors, fostering professional growth and ensuring the smooth functioning of library services.Collaborate with academic and research staff to align library services with teaching, research, and learning objectives.Develop and execute library initiatives, including communication, space planning, events, and resource curation.Drive strategic projects in areas like service quality, student engagement, and evidence-based library practices.Partner with the Research and Education Liaison team to create and deliver engaging programs and resources that enhance information literacy and digital skills.Represent the library in broader university and professional communities, showcasing leadership and advocacy for continuous improvement.What will help you succeedTo excel in this role, youll bring:A strong foundation in pedagogical approaches and the ability to design, create, and maintain impactful learning resources.Expertise in using and promoting a variety of scholarly information tools and resources.A proactive mindset to anticipate needs, solve challenges, and adapt to evolving academic environments.A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for mentoring, teamwork, and cross-functional partnerships.A dedication to evidence-based practice, driving decisions and improvements with data, feedback, and trends.To be considered for this position, you will need to have the right to work in Australia.Reference Number: 0035_02/25Location: ToowoombaTerm: Full-time continuing appointment (36 hours per week)Salary: Total Remuneration range of $104,689 to $113,382 pa (includes salary range of $88,457 to $95,802 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17%, and annual leave loading)Closes: Monday, 3 March 2025 @ 11.30pm AESTIf you know that this role is right for you, please submit your current resume together with a two-page (maximum) statement, outlining your skills and experience relative to Who were looking for in the position description. #J-18808-Ljbffr
