We''re proud of our ''Zero Harm'' initiative and provide extensive on-the-job training to ensure you get home safely at the end of every day.Qube is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage women and Indigenous peoples of all ages to apply.Specific ResponsibilitiesEfficient operation of the sites vehiclesBFM Accreditation or willing to obtainComplete all necessary associated documentation (such as the preparation and signing of cartage dockets and service requests)Follow appropriate company proceduresInitiate action to prevent the occurrence of deficiencies in the delivery of productUndertake supervision work when directedTake good care of vehicles / plant under your careEnsure compliance with all NHVR regulationsEnsure compliance with fatigue managementEnsure compliance with loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permitsQualifications And ExperienceHeavy Combination (HC) Drivers Licence or specific license as requiredMinimum of 2 years truck driving experienceExperience with Truck & Dog Tippers desirableDemonstrate suitable driving history with HC licenceStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of peopleAbility to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolutionAbility to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environmentAbility to work well within a small team environmentKnowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, NHVR regulations and permitting standardsMSIC Card desirableDay & Night Shift availability and desire to work overtimeKey Competencies/SkillsBasic mechanical knowledge in dealing with heavy vehiclesGood driving skills for heavy haulage trucksGood skills in operating other equipment used by QubeSound communication skills (both written and verbal)Customer focused and responsive to customer requirementsPerformance and task drivenIntegrityGood time managementWhy QUBE?At Qube, we recognise that our people are our most important asset and are the engine that drives our organisation, playing a vital role in ensuring our business achieve our objectives and deliver on our commitments.
