Join us in making a difference!About the RoleWere seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Laverton Glass Recycling Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating Afternoon / Night roster:Daily overtime applies after first 8 hours, Weekday and Saturday overtime available at penalty rates.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, youll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile machinery.Work with the production team to resolve issues with minimal downtime.Work with hydraulic systems, motor controls, fixed plant, and mobile machinery.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.Record maintenance tasks in the asset management system (IFS).What Youll BringStrong experience in a similar heavy industry or recycling, with preventative and breakdown maintenance knowledge.Skills in hydraulics, motor controls, and fault finding.A proactive attitude and a commitment to safety.What Youll Love About VisyWhen you join Visy, youre joining a team that values you.
