Experienced Hospital Social WorkerExperienced Hospital Social Worker required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff. The caseload will cover Palliative Care and part-time Acute Rural Generalist Caseload.DetailsHours would be 0800-1630 Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day)Accommodation can be provided for the candidate for the length of contractUp to $1000 (incl. GST) will be reimbursed for one way travelWorking alongside the hospital-based Social Work team and the community-based Palliative Care teamCaseload will be varied depending on experience, but could include inpatient adults (including maternity) and paediatrics, palliative care inpatients and community-based patients, Emergency Dept, and outpatient bereavement servicesThe service has a large First Nations Australian population, and there will be opportunities to work alongside our team of Indigenous Liaison OfficersWorking amongst the multidisciplinary team which is young and dynamic. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join.
