CGH is located in the City of Sale which is 215 km east of Melbourne.CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond. The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra, and Heyfield). Acute services include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University''s School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.About Omeo District HealthOmeo District Health (ODH) is a Small Rural Health Service that provides a range of health and support services to the local communities including Urgent, Acute, Transitional, Residential Aged, Primary care and Home-based care.ODH is located in the East Gippsland High Country (Omeo & District) a gateway to the spectacular Alpine region of Victoria.About DepartmentThe Quality Department is a small department based at the Sale campus, covering all CGH campuses including Sale, Maffra, Heyfield, Stretton Park, Rosedale, Loch Sport and Omeo District Health.About the RoleYou will work in partnership with the Manager Quality and Risk to support the management team at Omeo District Health, to comply with accreditation standards across all areas of the organisation, both clinical and non-clinical. The position will support accreditation activities and processes and work with the Quality team to meet reporting and other clinical governance requirements.DutiesCoordinate and support accreditation activities across the organisation;Promote a culture of improving performance across the organisation;Support the coordination of clinical governance activities;Utilise effective communication and strong organisational skills with all stakeholders in the organisation;Participate in ODH working groups and committees as appropriate;Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceExperience in healthcareExperience with health and aged care accreditationClinical QualificationExperience in conducting clinical incident reviewKnowledge and experience in improvement and innovation methodologiesApplicationPlease attach your resume and cover letter to your applicationStatement addressing Selection Criteria including qualifications, experience and Leadership and Technical Capability Requirements as outlined in the position descriptionAll appointments are made subject to the candidate providing a current satisfactory National Police Certificate and obtaining a Working with Children Check.At CGH we acknowledge the importance of creating a work environment that is welcoming, safe, equitable and inclusive.
