You will work with modern simulation technology as part of a helicopter aircrew training school and you will directly see the amazing outcomes from your work every day.Youll play a key role in bid and project management, ensuring successful delivery while driving improvements and aligning with strategic objectives. This is a full-time permanent role based in Nowra.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with functional teams to ensure efficient bid and project delivery.Manage stakeholder relationships and communications, both internal and external.Develop competitive, high-quality bid offers with clear win strategies.Oversee schedules, budgets, risks, and opportunities to ensure project success.Lead governance processes, including gate reviews and reporting.Coordinate input from suppliers, partners, and subcontractors.Mentor and support less experienced bid and project managers.Your Skills:Degree in business, engineering, project management, or related field.Proven leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.Experience in bid/project management, preferably in Defence.Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.IPMA certification or ability to obtain it.DESIRED EXPERIENCE / SECURITY CLEARANCESCurrent NV1 Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)Proven track record in managing complex bids and projects across multiple geographies and time zones.IPMA certification or willingness to obtain it.Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).Familiarity with Defence ASDEFCON procurement processes.WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
