This role provides hands-on supervision, training, and support to work teams, ensuring reliable service delivery in a cost-effective and safe manner. Youll be joining a dedicated team that takes pride in maintaining critical infrastructure for the community.What Your Day Will Look LikeLeading and supervising wastewater network maintenance teams.Coordinating sewer network maintenance, including property connections and CCTV inspections.Assisting in planned maintenance programs for passive water assets.Organising excavation and installation of new service connections.Ensuring asset data is updated and workplace documentation is completed accurately.What Youll Need For SuccessLicenced Plumber and/or Drainer trade qualification (AQF Level 3 or above) and/or extensive experience in the water/wastewater industry.General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card) or ability to obtain.Confined Spaces Certification.Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus immunisations or ability to acquire.Strong leadership skills with experience managing wastewater maintenance teams.Extensive knowledge of wastewater distribution assets.Ability to plan, organise, and make sound operational decisions.A customer-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.Basic computer literacy and attention to detail in documentation.Whats Nice To HaveClass LR Licence or above.Mini excavator operation competency.Apply First Aid certification.Benefits Of Working With CouncilCommitted to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
