Thats the #powerofexperience.About the opportunityThe Victorian Government is upgrading the Eastern Freeway with new express lanes, new traffic management technology and Melbournes first dedicated busway. These changes will slash travel times and improve public transport in Melbournes east.Laing ORourke is part of the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance with Major Road Projects Victoria, Symal, Arcadis and WSP. Our scope of work includes a new interchange connecting the Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, major road and bridge upgrades between Burke Road and Tram Road, smart traffic management technology upgrades and new noise protection to meet Victorias toughest traffic noise standards. The local community will also benefit from new and upgraded walking and cycling connections, upgrades to Koonung Creek Reserve and revitalised wetlands and open spaces.About the roleWe are currently seeking a Data Survey Manager to join us on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the EBTA Survey Manager, your responsibilities will involve (but not be limited to):Acting as the key liaison between the design team, engineering staff, and area survey managers.Performing design computations and creating set-out models from design models and drawings for the survey team, utilizing 3D/2D models and drawings.Managing and consolidating the survey as-built data.Managing and creating machine control surfaces and line works.Ensuring the highest health and safety standards through documented Toolbox talks.Proficiency in data management procedures, particularly 12D/TBC/Bricscad/Trimble Connect.Experience working with and liaising with Digital Engineering, GIS, Delivery Engineering, and Design Teams.A healthy appetite for Change and Innovations.About YouPossess a relevant surveying degree/qualification.Have experience managing survey data and basic drafting.Exposure to large road construction projects, including major roads and bridges infrastructure.Possess extensive knowledge of VicRoads standards and the Department of Planning and Transport.BenefitsWe work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
