Oleum FuelsKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded correctly in Xero.Utilize Office Companion for financial management and reporting tasks.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with GST/BAS lodgments.Prepare and lodge PAYG withholding tax and superannuation contributions.Assist in corporate tax planning and ensure adherence to ATO regulations.Support in the preparation of income tax returns and liaise with tax advisors.Monitor and report on tax liabilities and ensure timely tax payments.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.Fuel Stock Reconciliation: Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of fuel inventory, monitoring discrepancies and coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.Fuel Expense Management: Oversee fuel purchasing records, vendor payments, and cost allocations to ensure transparency in fuel expenditures.Fuel Usage Reporting: Generate reports on fuel consumption, identifying trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as an Accountant, with expertise in Xero and Office Companion.Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications (Optional)CPA or CA certification (or working towards certification).Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the fuel, logistics, or related industry.BenefitsOpportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive work environment with a dynamic team.If you meet the above criteria and have experience with Xero and Office Companion, we encourage you to apply.
