Demonstrating a proactive approach to sales, encouraging effective inter-departmental teamwork while being an internal role model for Hyatt selling techniques and Park Hyatt customer service is crucial to the role.Some of the responsibilities include:Achieve established monthly personal plan targets set in conjunction with the Director of Sales and MarketingMaintain existing relationships with partners and develop a robust prospecting plan with a strong emphasis on face-to-face client engagement to expand the customer base.Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to review hotel sales targets and pricing strategies for all key accountsAssist sales colleagues where required with account management and demonstrating Hyatts selling techniquesPlan and undertake entertainment of potentially productive accountsEnsure all reports and correspondence are completed accurately and punctuallyActively pursue marketing intelligence and potential business opportunitiesQualificationsDegree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Commerce or other related business qualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role within Melbournes luxury hotel market is essentialExcellent interpersonal and communication skills used to build effective relationships with all stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and exceptional organisational/time-management skillsGoal driven with proven experience in achieving sales targets, acquiring and retaining businessJoin us at Hyatt and make travel more human.
