We are looking to appoint the following:Operator Maintainer MechanicalAs an Operations and Maintenance Technician with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team at Yarnima Power Station. The station consists of 3 x Siemens SGT-800 Gas Turbines, 3 x Heat recovery steam generators, and 2 Siemens SST-400 condensing steam turbines with a combined generation capacity of up to 190MW. Yarnima Power Station supplies the township of Newman and all BHP mines within the East Pilbara. The role is a FIFO position with a family-friendly roster working a combination of night/day shift on an 8 days on and 6 days off roster with flights based out of Perth or Busselton. We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of engineering and consulting to the last stages of installation and commissioning.Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.What youll doProactively maintain a safe working environment.Assist in Plant start-ups and shutdowns where required.Perform routine, preventative, corrective maintenance.Effectively utilise provided systems, processes and resources to ensure that Worley and our clients business objectives are achieved.Assist in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying improvements in maintenance activities and processes.Conduct plant inspections and unit return to service walk downs.Ensure Worley HSE standards are implemented and achieved.Assess risks and hazards involved in tasks and methods to manage hazards and prevent incidents and injury.Identify and report details of all non-conforming work in order to prevent future non-conformances.Develop with the work group JHAs and risk assessments tasks being undertaken.What youll havePrevious experience within the Power industry.Experience operating and maintaining gas turbine generators.Electrical/Instrument or Mechanical qualification and experience.Exposure to PLCs and Plant Control Systems.High level diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.Demonstrable knowledge and practical site HSE legislation and duty of care.Computer skills Word/Excel/SAP and ability to learn different operating systems.It would also be preferred (but not essential) if you have experience / qualifications in the following:High Risk Licence in Turbine/Boiler operation, forklift, EWP, Dogging or Rigging.Supervised gas fitting.Water analytics.Experience in HV switching operations.Steam process experience.Cert 4 training and assessing.Why you should applyJoin a fun and inclusive, global team of professionals.Enjoy a varied & challenging role.ASX listed global energy leader.A supportive work environment where innovation is inspired, and new ideas are encouraged.Opportunities for personal and professional development and career growth.Competitive remuneration + benefits package.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
