This role requires a strong emphasis on customer service, as it involves providing friendly, accurate, and timely advice to both prospective and current students, as well as university staff, on a daily basis. The officer ensures that all aspects of scholarship management are handled efficiently and effectively, supporting students in accessing financial aid opportunities throughout their academic journey.You willEffective management of student matters received via phone, email and face-to-face inquiries;Proactive referral of students to relevant specialist staff and follow up if required; andEstablish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff and clients through professional communications and efficient use of electronic records systems.About youYour excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ensure you are able to respond to customer inquiries with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. You effectively convey information and build rapport, creating positive interactions and strong relationships with customers. You are skilled at tailoring your communication style to meet the needs of different individuals and situations, ensuring each customer feels heard and understood.
