The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is offering a fulfilling role for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The Community Engagement Coordinator will help deliver the Community Engagement Plan across regional, rural, and remote areas of Queensland.This full-time role is permanent and will be located at our Charleville or Mt Isa Base. For this role, occasional overnight stays and travel are required.This role is based in regional Queensland and involves assisting in the organisation of regional events and facilitating the calendar of community engagement events state-wide. These events may include base open days, galas, school visits, and local shows. In addition, you will:Represent RFDS (Queensland Section) at various events locally and state-wideMaintain accurate data and information in the RFDS databaseContribute to the management of a community engagement budgetAssist the Community Engagement Manager to support and coordinate Queensland Ambassadors with information, schedules, and plans for eventsSupport collection of patient stories and testimonialsEnsure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including RFDS finance, banking, donations, the Collections Act, FIA Code of Conduct and the RFDS Vulnerable Persons policyWho are we looking for?We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, people person who will represent the RFDS brand with pride and passion.
