At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australias deepest underground mines.Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.About the Role:We''re seeking a skilled Shotcrete Operator to join our dynamic team; you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of underground workings and contribute to the mines overall stability and support systems.Key Responsibilities:Operate shotcrete equipment for ground support in underground mine areas.Prepare, mix, and apply shotcrete according to safety and engineering standards.Conduct pre-operational checks and maintenance on shotcrete machinery.Monitor shotcrete application, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.Collaborate with underground teams to plan and prioritize shotcreting activities.Follow strict safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.About you:Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator in underground mining environments.Proficiency in operating shotcrete spraying machines (manual and robotic).Understanding of shotcrete mix designs and application techniques.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to OH&S regulations.Ability to work in a challenging, team-oriented environment.Relevant certifications/licences (e.g., confined spaces, working at heights, and underground competency).Conditions:This position will be offered on a 7/7 roster, and commute options include residential or DIDO.Relocation costs and subsidised housing will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar. CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.Candidates interested in DIDO will be provided with commute single accommodation and meals at the mine camp.Location:Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions. Entertainment options include restaurants, pubs, and clubs for dining out.
