Next Level Dentistry Pty LtdAs a Dental Technician, you will provide specialised expertise in the design, construction, and repair of dental appliances, including dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic devices, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through technical collaboration with dental practitioners.BenefitsSalary: AU$ 70,000 to AU$ 80,000 + superannuationTask & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a qualified full-time Dental Technician who will be responsible for:Receiving and interpreting written orders from dental prosthetists or dentists.Fabricating plaster and stone models of the mouth and teeth from impressions taken by dental practitioners.Constructing custom impression trays for use by dental prosthetists or dentists.Creating wax replicas of dental structures to assist with appliance design.Setting up and replicating jaw positions using articulating equipment.Forming, cutting, and moulding materials such as plastic, metal, or ceramic to produce dental appliances using casting, CAD/CAM, and thermoforming technologies.Recording tooth shades using direct observation or specialised equipment for aesthetic accuracy.Assembling artificial teeth for partial or full dentures.Designing and fabricating ceramic restorations and orthodontic appliances, including both fixed and removable solutions.Polishing and finishing dental appliances prior to patient use.Relining, repairing, or modifying dentures and other dental appliances as required.Qualification & ExperienceEducation & TrainingThe minimum requirements for the position are:Relevant qualification at Certificate IV level or higher in Dental Technology or a related field.Alternatively, at least 35 years of relevant work experience as a Dental Technician.ExperienceProficiency in using specialised equipment, including CAD/CAM systems.Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.Knowledge of dental materials and fabrication techniques.SkillsTeamwork and collaboration skills for effective interaction with dental practitioners.Strong communication skills for understanding practitioner instructions and documenting processes.Organisational and time-management abilities to maintain an efficient workflow.About CompanyNext Level Dentistry, led by Dr Angelo Lazaris, is a premier cosmetic dental practice located in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
