Apply today!Job DetailsPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment, picking items by batch and ID/kit numbers and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently, continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesClinicalComply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which contain specific instructions to take the steps concerning the reception and shipment of materials.Compare the material received with the documentation forwarded in order to certify concordance or disagreement.Prepare box contents according to the information described on Packing List with correct temperature control.Physically perform packing process of inbound, outbound and returned shipments using Cencora World Courier packaging products.The Operator must have the training and the capability required to control materials characteristics (described in their labels): ID number, expiration date, lot number, patients kit, and temperature and storage conditions as well as any additional information that could be useful.The Operator must be specifically trained in order to perform activities related to shipments such as the picking, packaging preparation, packing and labeling.Perform activities on the Operative System CTM-STAR related to the Inbound, Outbound, Return and Relocation processes.Have deep knowledge and carry out relabeling, returns processing, stock control, balance and relocations processes developed at the Facility.Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for.CommercialFollow receiving, storage and shipping procedures for processing commercial products in the warehouse. Applies to all environments including but not limited to cold chamber controlled ambient and vault products.Support Commercial initiatives by streamlining processes to gain efficiencies in the warehouse.Complete assigned reporting, cross check and verification checks as per daily, weekly and monthly reporting.Work closely with packaging contacts to ensure enough supplies are maintained for the warehouse.Pick, pack and prepare and verify products for shipping.Process inbound, outbound and return shipments for Commercial.Work with a number of IT systems, including, but not limited to ASW, IRIR, Returns connect.Perform daily cycle counts and stock-takes.Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for.Additional Requirements And ResponsibilitiesOnce trained, be part of an on call rotational roster 24/7 with the logistics team to provide in person attendance for emergency response in case of any emergency shipments required by World Courier Clients.Work in all temperature controlled environments including but not limited to:+15 to +25C+2 to +8C20 to -30CParticipate in scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes.Internal Communication and Information SharingKeep Internal Stakeholders informed of the progress of their order and shipment.Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to find appropriate resolutions to Clinical and Commercial matters to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.Liaise with the Transport Customer Service team in relation to World Courier transport bookings and ensure correct processes are followed.Provide information to all WCA business units to ensure work output is coordinated in an effective manner.Contribute to team and organisational wide discussions by sharing ideas, experiences and recommendations around improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the business.Teamwork and CollaborationEffectively collaborate with all Internal Stakeholders to ensure the function is operating effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a harmonious team environment.Policy and ProcedureComply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the function is demonstrating consistent practices nationally and is in line with strategic objectives.Ensure WCA compliance with all government legislative and other requirements such as ACS, CASA, AQIS, IATA, ISO.Ensure full compliance with international local regulations such as WCA RACA SP (Registered Air Cargo Security Program) Australian Customs IATA regulations.Ensure full compliance with WCA quality management systems (GxP).Workplace Health and SafetyActively promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplace.Take reasonable care of, and cooperate with actions taken to protect the health and safety of both themselves and others.Report all accidents, incidents and hazards to their supervisor as soon as is practicable.Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S legislation and that any issues are identified and actioned in line WCA policy.Reports Directly ToTeam Leader - Warehouse OperationsExperience And Educational RequirementsHave minimum 2 years logistics & warehousing experience.Experience in receiving/put away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack process from waving order to completion, booking of transport for cold chain orders for re-fridge transport.Understanding of the sensitivity of handling pharmaceutical products and working with and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Current forklift license - counter balance and high reach and electric reach trucks.Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability RequirementsPosition will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training.Excellent interpersonal relationships.Be able to take initiatives and solve problems.Self driven and can work autonomously.Sound computer skills.An understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirements.Sound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail.Sound written and verbal communication skills.Problems solving skills.Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.A calm and customer focused approach.What Cencora offersBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
