Overseeing all sales with a focus on strategic growth and profitability.Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives, aiming to accelerate growth and improve profitability.Build and execute strategies to ensure the business is continually acquiring new customers, while also maintaining and nurturing the existing customer base.Conduct market research and analysis to identify commercial opportunities, remaining updated on market conditions/industry trends to present strategic opportunities/advice to senior management.Maintain an in-depth understanding of customer (B2B & B2C) requirements across all markets.Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders (external and internal).Maintain close relationships with all major Wholesale buyers and oversee negotiations and onboarding of all new Wholesale partnerships.Flexibility to strategise team travel, selecting which team members will travel and when, aligned with the international sell schedule.Commercial Performance:Directly responsible for the performance of Wholesale sales channel.Assist in setting overarching financial targets. Responsible for developing and monitoring revenue budgets and performance targets.Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics to prepare reports for senior management.Work closely with all accounts to identify and present opportunities for in-season re-orders and injections to drive incremental sales.Prepare sales results & SWOT analysis at the end of each selling period for each collection.Account Management:Oversee all Wholesale relationships at a strategic level.Maintain close relationships with all major Wholesale buyers, including negotiating retailer agreements.Review all new stockist requests ensuring brand alignment and growth strategies are adhered to.Pro-actively seek new partnership opportunities in key international growth regions.Operations:Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Finance departments to ensure all Wholesale operations are run smoothly.Oversee Wholesale Accounts Coordinator to ensure orders are fulfilled and dispatched on schedule.Brand & Customer:Act as custodian of Shona Joy brand, ensuring that brand identity is maintained.Actively seek opportunities to promote the Shona Joy brand both within the industry and to our customer base.Leadership:As a member of the Shona Joy leadership team, work closely with the CEO and other HOD to ensure the company vision is being achieved.To be successful you will need:Minimum 5 years international & management sales experience.Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing or Business an advantage.Must have a keen interest in sales and business aspects of fashion.Strong analytical and numeracy skills essential.High attention to detail.Proficient in Excel.Experienced using ERP systems such as Apparel 21 or equivalent.Extremely well organised with excellent time management and admin skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work within a team, multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines.Why work with us Generous staff discounts & clothing allowance.A friendly, collaborative, and supportive working environment.Focus on responsible business practices & sustainability.Easy to access office in Rosebery, close to public transport.Employee Referral Program.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales, Management, and General BusinessIndustriesRetail Apparel and Fashion #J-18808-Ljbffr
