PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation projects. We provide technical services to the Australian energy and resources sector with specific experience in the Minerals and Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, and Power Generation Industries.Due to current success and growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team based in our Applecross Head Office with further opportunity to step-up into ER/IR Manager (acting) in June 2025 due to our ER/IR Manager going on a period of parental leave.This is a true HR Business Partnering role that will act as the link between HR and division units to assist the business in achieving its strategic goals.The opportunity:The HR Business Partner reports to the ER/IR Manager and is responsible for supporting operational management teams with the design and implementation of human resource initiatives that underpin the HR strategy, forging stakeholder relationships through effective coaching and development, influencing team engagement and exceptional employee experience to enhance retention. In this influential position, you will:Work closely with the ER/IR Manager to deliver the HR StrategySupport Leaders and employees to improve working relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.Build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including site management teams, employees, and client representatives.Provide timely accurate advice, support and coaching on all HR activities to Leaders and employeesAnalyse and interpret HR data to identify trendsAssist in the design, development and implementation of attraction and retention strategies and initiatives.Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring programs that promote personal effectiveness.Support with the identification of top talent, leadership and capability developmentAssist in the development and implementation of best practice policies, procedures, and systemsProvide the interpretation and application of HR policies and proceduresSupport change management programs and initiatives within the business and influence key stakeholdersSupport HR related projects and scheduled HR Activities; Talent Identification, Leadership Development & Succession Planning Cycle, Remuneration Reviews and Performance Development Reviews (PDR)Facilitate relevant training and workshops for Leaders and employeesConduct site visits forging stakeholder relationships through effective coaching and developmentBe a true driver and advocate of Employee EngagementRequired skills and experience:Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management or closely related fieldKnowledge of best practices in Human Resource ManagementAbility to connect business results to HR outcome strategiesExperience in designing, developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsObjectivity, sound judgement and decision-making skillsMaster''s Degree in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology or closely related fieldExperience within the Construction or Mining IndustryWhat''s on offer:Onsite ParkingGreat Work LocationPaid day off for your BirthdayInclusive Work CultureAre you a seasoned HR professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business success through effective people management?
