Blue Horizon Migration Pty LtdAs our Construction Estimator, you will work out and present cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects, right up to the final tender stage.You will be reporting directly to the Director.ANZSCO code: 312114 CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR skill level 2BenefitsThis is a fulltime (38 hours/week) position.Annual salary: $81k + superannuationTasks & ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Operations Manager, working out the costs of materials, labour, and equipment, and estimating how long jobs will take.Preparing and adjusting budgets, cost breakdowns, and quote documents as needed.Reading and understanding landscape plans, site drawings, council regulations, and industry standards.Gathering site measurements and other data using surveying tools and equipment.Doing basic calculations, measuring up, and organising data to help with cost estimates and project planning.Monitor budgets and work schedules.In collaboration with the Deport Supervisor, checking supplies and materials to make sure they meet project requirements and industry regulations.Putting together rough cost estimates, material lists, and project specs for landscaping work.Assisting Team Leaders, Landscape Architects, and Director organise landscaping jobs.Qualification & ExperienceThe successful candidate must have a relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).On top of the qualification requirement, at least 1 year of full-time work experience as a Construction Estimator is required for this role, or 3 years if you do not have the required qualification.About CompanyBackyard Creations has been operating since 2008.
