With significant government investment fuelling growth, a thriving corporate market, and a lack of upscale accommodation in the area, the potential is enormous. To ensure we establish ourselves as the top accommodation choice in the area, were looking for a passionate BDM to join our teamsomeone who will take the lead in forging strong connections with local businesses and positioning us for success.Featuring 90 stylish, self-contained apartments (studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom) and a spacious conference facility, Punthill Sunshine is designed to meet the needs of todays corporate and leisure travellers. As our Business Development Manager, youll take the lead in driving sales, building lasting relationships, and putting this standout property on the map.ResponsibilitiesAt Veriu Group, we know that people do business with people, which is why genuine relationships are at the heart of our success. Our sales philosophy focuses on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutionsa win-win for everyone involved.As Business Development Manager, youll be the sales expert for the hotel, identifying, pursuing, and securing corporate accounts while working closely with the Hotel Manager to achieve our strategic goals.Your responsibilities will require you to:Drive direct corporate sales (B2B) to increase production and generate new corporate relationshipsNavigate and secure opportunities associated with major projects and institutionsCold-call, knock on doors, generate new leads & develop a strong corporate pipelineIncrease brand awareness by improving current relationships & build strong relationships with new clientsConduct site inspections, client visits, attend industry events & work with a team-orientated approachDevelop and implement sales plans and develop a targeted approach to grow our business to exceed targetsBenefitsYou''ll be someone looking for a long-term career with a growing, Australian-owned hotel group.
