Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.The successful applicant would have basic paint knowledge and be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in also providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages and a uniform. Store hours are between 6:30am 4:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm. The store is not open on Sundays or public holidays.Responsibilities include:Following the Inspirations Way proceduresProviding exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customersTinting and mixing paint; colour advice and matchingPaint and accessory deliveries as requiredStore presentation, stock management and housekeepingWorkplace Health & Safety requirementsExperience / AttributesA background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment an advantagePractical experience in home improvement projects desirableExperience with automotive and industrial paintsApproachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaintsAble to problem solve using advanced communication skillsA willingness to learn and continuously improveAble to contribute and work in a small team environmentHonest, reliable and punctualBasic computer skillsAvailable to work weekends on a rotating rosterThis role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgIf you have knowledge of the paint industry, are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
