As a member of our team, you will be working on an exciting range of energy and infrastructure projects that are shaping Victorias future.In particular, you will:Help develop communications and stakeholder engagement plans to ensure the community is consulted and fully informed of the projects;Prepare communications materials, such as fact sheets, social media posts, newsletters and media releases;Engage with stakeholders of varying backgrounds including explaining the project and answering their questions;Coordinate and participate in community events, information sessions, workshops, and reference groups;Assess and report on the success of engagement activities.Who Are YouYou are looking to continue and grow your career in communications and stakeholder engagement. You are a great communicator who is hungry to learn more and get involved in exciting projects. You will be joining a team of experienced professionals who will continue to help your career grow. You are analytical but also display flair in your communication style. In particular, you have:Tertiary qualifications in Media, Communications, Social Sciences or a related discipline;3+ years experience in a professional environment;Good multitasking capabilities and able to work on several projects simultaneously;An analytical mind such that you find research and analysis interesting;Excellent interpersonal skills and find it easy to communicate with large groups;Candidates who have the following will be highly regarded:IAP2 certification;Industry experience working on linear infrastructure development such as rail, roads, powerlines and pipelines;Versed with developing and implementing engagement and relevant sub-plans for infrastructure projects;Ideally, you will meet all or most of the above criteria.
