Then this is the job for you!Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Operations Manager will provide leadership across many groups and individual services located within the Inner West, South-East and South-West Sydney, and Sutherland Shire communities.The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for leading an Operations Manager and a team of Practice Leaders to ensure great outcomes and best practice in all areas, including:Identify and understand community strengths, interests, and aspirations through formal and informal research and engagement initiativesFoster networks and alliances to build collaborative partnerships based on supporting the aspirations of clientsListen, provide support, and participate in community-led activitiesCo-design community-driven projects that engage, encourage, and empower individualsDevelop processes and resources that build capacity for clients to continue to be involved in community life and build their sense of belonging and connectionCreate inviting spaces through placemaking initiativesInspire and promote community-led activities that encourage connection, participation, and contribution to community lifeEnable people to connect to each other and build networksABOUT YOUYou will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, and exceptional service delivery to clients within Social & Community Programs driven by community development strategies at a grassroots and regional level.This role is also responsible for building capability to ensure that the programs are aligned to NDIS (incl. Aged care and ACIS) quality and safeguarding framework and that our impact achieves positive outcomes for individuals, staff, and communities.Youre about empowering and developing your team so that theyre ready and able to provide the right support at the right moment. You know that what works well today may not necessarily be the things that work tomorrow, and as such, you are forward-thinking, innovative, and adaptable.ESSENTIAL CRITERIAYou will need to be able to demonstrate the following:5+ years previous senior leadership experience in an operations role, preferably in disability services and/or community developmentTertiary qualifications in business, health, or social science related disciplinesPrevious experience in an operational management role covering multiple services or a service of significant size in the community services spacePrevious experience managing a teamHigh level commercial acumen and a proven ability to business partner effectively with key stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to identify and understand trends and provide analytical support to drive insights and recommendationsPrevious experience in business development and/or the establishment of new servicesIn-depth knowledge of quality accreditations, industry frameworks, and risk management principlesIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant programsDemonstrated experience using a variety of finance systems ideally coupled with experience in implementationCurrent police check with a clear criminal recordCurrent Working with Children checkCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckUnrestricted driver''s licence and First Aid CertificationABOUT CIVICOur vision of Human Potential, Realised is about striving to create a society where people have the opportunity to achieve their goals and participate as a valued member of the community.
