We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care that empowers individuals to live fulfilling lives.About the RoleAs a Support Coordinator at Quest Solutions, you will assist participants to work towards the identified goals in their NDIS plan by navigating the NDIS service system, making informed decisions, and obtaining the resources and support they need and want. You will need a good understanding of a range of disabilities and an ability to navigate the NDIS framework, seeking support and establishing relationships necessary to support your client to increase inclusivity within the community.Key Responsibilities:Interpret participants NDIS plan and assist them in the planning and implementation of services.Help participants gain skills to manage their own supports independently.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, families, NDIA, and other service providers.Assist NDIS participants in understanding their goals and implementing support services.Plan, develop, and build capacity in individuals to manage their own supports.Monitor and review plans and goals in consultation with participants on an ongoing basis.Provide support and assistance to relevant parties as appropriate.Organize services and negotiate service agreements with providers.Arrange necessary assessments for participants.Work closely with plan managers regarding funding breakdowns.Link participants to mainstream or community services (i.e., housing, education, transport, health).Be the key contact for service issues, complaints, major changes, and plan reviews.Ensure equitable support for participants with respect to dignity, privacy, independence, and respect.Support clients to implement their NDIS plan to maximize the value for money from their supports.About You:Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a disability setting supported by the National Disability Insurance Scheme.Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission framework and the NDIS Code of Conduct.Ability to research autonomously and experience in information gathering and networking.Experience in a KPI billable hours setting.Proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of databases, and demonstrated administration skills.Experience in maintaining accurate and professionally appropriate records and reports.A genuine, empathetic, and passionate nature.Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.Ability to liaise and build rapport with participants, families, and carers.Current ACT driver''s license, valid WWVP (with NDIS activities), and Covid clearance.First Aid Certificate - desirable.What We Offer:Flexible casual hours to suit your availability.Competitive hourly rates.Opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative organization.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:Quest Solutions is an inclusive employer.
