The IT Transformation team will play a key role in driving these projects forward, helping the organisation achieve operational excellence.About the RoleAs a Business Analyst at St Vincent de Paul Society, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of new technology solutions and services that align with our business strategy. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, facilitating workshops, developing user stories, and creating customer journey maps to address pain points and enhance service delivery. Your expertise in business analysis and human-centered design will drive the development of impactful solutions.This role will primarily support the Human Resource Capital Management Project and will involve leading and supporting business analysis activities related to the projects delivery. Additionally, you will contribute to improving business analysis practices across the Society.This is a 15-month, Maximum Term role at 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week), with a hybrid work arrangement that requires 60% on-site presence at our Box Hill office.Key Responsibilities:Support the maintenance of project scope by collecting and documenting business requirements.Foster collaborative relationships across the Society and assist with change management activities, including identifying training needs due to process or system changes.Provide support for data migration activities, including data mapping, migration processes, and data cleansing requirements.Collaborate with the testing team to identify user test scenarios and test cases, offering testing support when necessary.Ensure efficient handover of solution design and process impact information to change and training teams to facilitate effective change initiatives.Align with the mission and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society, incorporating these principles into all aspects of the role.Promote reflective practice, respect the organizations core values, and encourage a positive workplace culture.Engage with and inspire colleagues, contributing to the development of a positive organizational culture.Actively participate in learning opportunities to develop personal and professional skills.Attend team, divisional, and organizational meetings regularly and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Respond positively to change and support the fostering of a culture of continuous improvement.About YouYou are currently working in a similar role and have experience in business and digital analysis. You are known for being responsive, approachable, and service oriented, you will confidently build connections with your key stakeholders and create positive working relationships.You will be highly organized, detail orientated and driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional results. You will bring a "hands on" approach and be a proactive operator who thrives on developing relationships to achieve high stakeholder engagement.More specifically you will have:A Bachelor''s degree in ICT, Business, or a related field, or 3+ years of experience in business and digital analysis within medium to large organizations.Proven experience in mapping business requirements and processes to product functionality, identifying gaps and opportunities.Strong expertise in using process improvement tools and techniques to analyze and redesign business processes.Previous experience with HCMS system implementation is highly desirable.Experience in leading and facilitating working groups or workshops.In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, processes, and lifecycle.Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment.Advanced problem-solving abilities and time management skills, with a demonstrated capacity to meet tight deadlines.Why work for us?
