Melba won the 2023 National Disability Award for Excellence in Service Quality.About the Role:Working closely with Business Leaders within the designated client group, the People Partner will support the implementation of business strategy from a people perspective. They will build organisational and people capability, shaping and implementing effective people strategies while supporting the delivery of workforce solutions across the full employee lifecycle.Responsibilities:Act as a strategic partner to Business Leaders, supporting effective workforce solutions across the full employee lifecycle within the Home and Living departmentsCoach and mentor leaders to enhance HR capability and improve business efficiencyProvide accurate, pragmatic advice on all aspects of HRSupport change management initiatives, including engagement with unionsFoster a high-performance culture through effective case management and advicePlan for current and future workforce needs, emphasising values alignment and accountabilityInterpret and apply policies to achieve desired outcomes, advising the business as neededDeliver regular people reports with trend analysis to develop and recommend solutionsFlexibility to travel to our sites when needed: Lilydale, Cheltenham, Morwell, and Ballarat (this will be occasional)Qualifications and Experience:Well-rounded HR generalist with experience across the entire employee lifecycleSkilled in interpreting and applying Pre-Modern Awards, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements (EAs)Experienced in handling Employee Relations tasks, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolutionEffective in managing relationships with unions, recruitment agencies, and learning & development providersStrong business acumen in the disability sector to achieve organisational goals (advantageous)High data literacy for interpreting dashboards and tracking key metricsStrategic advisory skills for risk analysis, sound judgment, and problem-solvingStrong stakeholder management, influencing, and leadership skills across all organisational levelsHigh level organisational and time management skills including a proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work autonomouslyRequirements:A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don''t already have them).Why Join Us?We are a human-rights, values-based, not-for-profit community organisation committed to providing services that support individuals with disability to lead everyday lives of their choice, if this resonates with you, come join us!Join a supportive and collaborative culture where your contributions make a real impact.Enjoy onsite parking and other benefits.Access to Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging.Flexible work arrangements, with the ability to work from home or the office.Ready to Make a Difference?Click "Apply" now and submit your resume.
