Our 4-star self-rating resort houses 24 spacious boutique rooms sitting comfortably opposite the vibrant shorefront of Byron''s Main Beach.In the heart of Byron but maintaining an intimate atmosphere, each room overlooks our private and lush tropical garden, pebbled pool and green lawns, with views beyond to the shimmering Pacific Ocean.About The RoleThe Beach Hotel Resort is seeking an experienced & skilled guest service agent, with a passion for customer service and hospitality. Offering a casual position with 2-4 shifts per week, with the possibility for growth in role for the right candidate.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnticipating and handling guest requests, enquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.Experience using RMS Reservation System will be highly regarded, as well as handling reservations via telephone, email, and OTA Extranets.Flexibility to work weekends, public and school holidays, with a mix of AM & PM shifts. Shift times are 7am-2.30pm & 2.30pm-10pm.Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures in the property.Make recommendations, upsell hotel features and related services. Imparting your knowledge and recommendations about the hotel, its facilities and the local area including restaurants and attractions to guests.Communicate to both internal and external guests in a polite, courteous and constructive manner and be able to work alongside all areas of management.Skills & ExperienceHave a minimum of 1 years accommodation experience as a Guest Service/Reservations agent.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong computer skills.Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in an autonomous environment.Be honest and reliable with a high standard of personal presentation.Sound knowledge of the local area and surrounds.If you believe you have the skills & expertise required for this role - Apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
