As a Technical Advisor, you will provide leadership, operational support, and strategic direction in line with our objectives to optimise plant performance, implement capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAid the Head of the Back to Black program with overall leadership support by ensuring the team is aligned, motivated, and focused on delivering outcomes.Ensure the effective execution of the programs goals.Align technical activities with key project milestones and sustainability goals, ensuring a seamless flow of operations, driving an increase in capacity and efficiency.Propel strategic projects in the expansion of production capability, market offering and enhance competitiveness.Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects across all plants, ensuring alignment with company goals, budgets, and timelines.Monitor project performance to ensure cost-efficiency, safety, and timely delivery.To Be Successful, You Will DemonstrateProven experience in a technical leadership or advisory role, preferably within manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry sectors.Strong background in operational optimization, capital project management, and continuous improvement programs.Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing plant reliability.A forward-thinking individual with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with business goals.Knowledge of Rolling Mill operations, maintenance, and reliability practices is highly desirable.Key BenefitsBelow are some of our key central benefits that are available to all employees.
