Want to elevate your career to a Higher Altitude?Watch your career fly high as a part of our National Workforce Planning team,to build and plan a better tomorrow.At dnata the sky''s truly the limit!SYDNEY, BRISBANE, MELBOURNE, PERTHWe have an exciting opportunity available for a National Labour Planning Analyst - Team Leader to assist our Head of Workforce Planning to support the development, forecast and rollout of resource strategies to address our operational and cost challenges across our business.More about this role:As the Labour Planning Analyst - Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-planning process for all operational units within our catering business. Utilizing specialist WFP systems and methodologies, you will effectively manage the weekly coverage of customer-focused demand, whilst ensuring adherence to our fatigue awareness and safety-led standards.This role will be a conduit between our site Business Managers to act as an effective internal support function for resource planning, our Labour Hire partners to close resource gaps during peak periods, and our Corporate Finance & Leadership team.In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:Direct, coordinate and manage labour assignments during the roster building phase.Ensure compliance with industrial agreements and business KPIs.Support all Operations Heads & National Head of WFP to manage the rostering process, systems and data reporting across a labour force of up to 4,000.Accurately oversee requirements in line with roster publication cycles.Coordinate responses to operational disruptions and develop solutions to challenges.Provide data analysis and reporting on critical statistics, highlighting trends and providing key advice to Operational Leaders.Engage in regular planning and mapping of strategic resources (Allocation team).Resource forecasting through analysis of data projections and built-in redundancies.Labour Hire coordination through our contracted LH agencies to manage workforce orders and verify invoiced hours.Achieve process improvements through consistent reviews of current WFP workflows and practices, gathering feedback from end users and Ops teams.Leadership and team development through motivational catch-ups, one-on-one mentoring, and involving them in ''big picture'' planning and updates.Build effective relationships throughout the business to ensure best use of resourcing and communicate any WFP initiatives.What do you need to be successful in securing this role?Proven experience in a Senior Labour Analyst or WFP Supervisory role.Experience with complex rosters and multi-site labour planning for over 3,000 staff.Strong project management focus with experience developing strategic plans.Highly analytical approach to problem solving.Previous financial management and budgeting experience.Advanced computer literacy skills with planning and rostering systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong work ethic, practical, proactive, and solutions-driven.Demonstrated ability to effectively work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Ability to model, influence, and encourage positive behaviours within the team.Experience in Food Distribution, Manufacturing, or 3PL Logistics.Knowledge of the Airline industry would be highly advantageous.Competent in documentation and records management.As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.Whats in it for you?Competitive salary.5 weeks paid Annual Leave.Free onsite parking and daily provided staff meals.Access to our tailored Employee Novated Car Lease program.National career development and progression opportunities.Be part of a close-knit and dedicated team that is committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.About Us:We are Australias largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
