Then we will look forward to meeting you!Your responsibilitiesStay updated on recent developments in UK environmental legislation and assist in summarising and communicating these changes to stakeholders.Contribute to our waste accounting process and energy saving actions to support our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.Assist in ensuring compliance with various requirements related to our environmental permits.Participate in identifying lessons from environmental incidents and assist in conducting internal environmental audits.Support the environmental management system to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement, enhancing our overall environmental performance.Support new low carbon projects in their efforts to obtain environmental permits, playing a crucial role in expanding our sustainable energy initiatives.Assist in the preparation and execution of environmental sustainability reports, helping to showcase our commitment to sustainable practices.Your profileThis placement would suit students who are currently studying a physical or environmental science degree qualification.A strong desire to gain exposure to environmental legislation and standards relevant to industry and permitted sites.Good interpersonal skills with an eagerness to learn and adapt to working across various functions.Basic knowledge of environmental management systems and audit management.This placement will be for between 48-52 weeks and will begin in Summer 2024At Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
