NSW QSE Coordinator (Quality, Safety & Environment) Freyssinet AustraliaLocation: Sydney-based with travel across NSWCompany Vehicle ProvidedJoin a Global Leader in Civil & Remedial EngineeringFreyssinet Australia is seeking an experienced NSW QSE Coordinator to join our Support Services team, providing dedicated Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) support to our Civil and Remedial business units.This is a hands-on role, requiring a proactive and highly skilled professional to drive compliance, risk management, and a strong safety culture across multiple project sites in Sydney, the Illawarra region, and wider NSW.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert QSE support to project teams, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, industry standards, and company policies.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Lead incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies and assist in implementing preventive measures.Facilitate and deliver training sessions on WHS, environmental management, and quality assurance.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to develop and implement safety improvement strategies.Support return-to-work coordination, ensuring compliance with rehabilitation and workers compensation processes.Maintain accurate QSE records and reports, ensuring transparency and alignment with internal and external requirements.Monitor environmental management processes, including waste management, erosion control, and sustainability initiatives.Assist in ISO accreditation processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across QSE functions.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within construction, oil & gas, or mining industries.Diploma in WHS (or equivalent).Additional qualifications in:Return-to-Work CoordinationIncident Investigation (Lead ICAM Investigator or similar)QSE Auditing (highly desirable)Training & Assessment (desirable)First Aid, CPR & Mental Health TrainingStrong knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, AS/NZ standards, and environmental regulations.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence safety culture on-site.Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and presentations.NSW White Card and valid drivers license.Why Join Freyssinet?Be part of a global leader in civil and remedial engineering with a strong reputation for excellence.Work on diverse and high-profile projects across NSW, supporting major infrastructure development.Career development opportunities, training programs, and exposure to a variety of QSE challenges.Company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone provided.A collaborative and supportive work environment that prioritizes safety and quality.Location & Travel RequirementsThis role is based in Sydney, but requires regular travel across NSW to provide on-site QSE support.
