Full time, Fixed term until 31 December 2025 based in the CBD CampusExciting opportunity for a diligent and focused Administration Officer with a diverse range of skillsHEO 5 Base Salary $86,511 - $96,863 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe University of Sydney Business School is a global leader in business and management education. The Education Services within the Business School is seeking an Administration Officer to join the Management and Executive Education team. As an Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support under general direction including data entry, preparing documents, coordinating program interviews, maintaining records, responding to queries, exploring matters, and sourcing solutions for the work area.The Administration Officer is a member of Management and Executive Education (M&EE), a department within the University of Sydney Business School that develops and administers management education programs, typically post-experience award programs which include Master of Management, Master of Management (CEMS), Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration (Leadership and Enterprise), Global Executive Master of Business Administration, and Executive Education courses.The Administration Officer works in a team consisting of Program Directors; an Associate Director, Mⅇ Team Leader; Program Managers; Careers and Corporate Relations as well as the wider international community of academics, corporate partners, and alumni.The role is based at the Sydney CBD campus. Note that some early mornings, late evenings, and weekend work will be required as part of the role from time to time.Your key responsibilities will be to:Work under guidance and be responsible for making decisions in the completion of daily tasks.Respond to enquiries online, by phone, and in person from students and university staff.Exercise a degree of initiative and judgement in planning work activity and resolving problems associated with day-to-day operating procedures.Work with a range of staff across the administrative team and in the wider University administration environment to meet work area objectives.Event promotion, coordination, and support.Develop systems and workflows.Undertake ad-hoc projects and other activities.About youExperience working in a similar position providing administrative support to a team.Proficient in handling and interpreting data and ability to generate insights from raw data and present findings.Eagerness to explore new tools or methods for analysing and presenting data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes.Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgment in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.Numeracy skills together with experience in budget tracking, and managing invoice payments and purchases.Computing skills including collaboration tools (MS Teams, Sharepoint, Onenote), MS Office, Customer Relationship Management software.Knowledge of programs such as Sydney Student, Canvas, Concur, Records Management, Content Management Systems, Salesforce, Symplicity, Workday, and/or Zoom Webinars will be highly regarded.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
